EDIT: One other question - this bypasses the need for the PF battery box, right? Because otherwise I'm not quite seeing how it all goes together. That's right, PF motor is powered directly from NXT brick. I can't tell, whether the 20" extension cable helps. Only the upper part of the two plugs...

Thanks for the info about resistor. I want to use pure Lego in my creations so I'll have to live with those barely lighting LEDs :)

You'll need: - Converter Cables for LEGO® MINDSTORMS® NXT ( http://shop.lego.com/ByTheme/Product.aspx?p=8528&cn=17 ) and - LEGO® Power Functions Extension Wire 20” ( http://shop.lego.com/ByTheme/Product.aspx?p=8871&cn=587 ) I have used this motor connected to NXT brick multiple times, for ex...

Controlling Power Functons LEDs

I'm trying to control those LEDs and I have found out that PF LEDs are always on (but barely light, approximately 10% power) if NXT is on. I can light them up fully (100% power) using for example SensorPort.S1.setPowerType(1) method, but I can't turn them off fully, only to those 10%. Is there a way...

How did you connect 3 touch sensors to the same port? Are you using one of the port splitters or perhaps the TouchMux?

These 3 sensors are old RCX touch sensors connected via RCX cables and then via NXTtoRCX converter cable. Brick doesn't recognize which sensor was pressed.

Pinball - finished project

Hey, I've made a Pinball Machine and have programmed it with LeJOS. The program is quite simple (250 lines, few listeners) but it's all I needed. Pinball Machine uses one NXT Brick, 4 touch sensors (3 of them are attached to one port) and 2 light sensors. After pressing orange button the ball is giv...

Hi there In the next release of leJOS we will detect if a Lego rechargeable battery is in I think that even better than detection would be if there was an option to choose if your max voltage is zirka 8.2V (lego battery or 6 rechargeable 1.2V batteries) or 9V (6 1.5 batteries) For example I,m using ...

Yup, I'm interested in your project and I like it :)
The stability of your seg is quite impressive.

I have borrowed a gyro sensor from my university and will test it soon.
I'm glad that you will post your code, looking forward to see it.
