Re: LED matrix

How about this?
http://www.hitechnic.com/cgi-bin/commerce.cgi?preadd=action&key=NPS1055
That would be the easiest way to switch on/off at most 6 LEDs.
You need only some small I2C-commands. That's all. No hardware issues at all.

I have tried it out and it works well.

Re: NxtUnit

update for you and myself: 1) I have programmed a new small file format for the debug info which takes less memory than the original one. Problem: The dump file with all the debug info takes a lot of memory. E.g. the debug info file of the lejos startup program takes 96KB. Solution: The new file for...

Re: Lejos implementation for Dexter Industries NXTBee?

Good news: I have two of them.
Bad news: I have no time to experiment with them. I have to finish Nxtunit and the Java Collections Framework for lejos first.
Basic datastructures like HashMap are still missing or have not been completely implemented.

Re: Question(look for all attached sensors)

I have a questions is it possible to look for all attached sensors and draw the result on the display? Because I want to put the sensors in random sockets and dont want to only use the specific socket for one sensor. Please tell me if its possible and how?? Hi Slejos. I have to disappoint you: you ...

Re: Lego Education Temperature Sensor 9749, how to access it

Hi. I want to announce that Sven and I wrote code to access the temperature sensor. I have tested it with my sensor and it works fine for me. You can take temperature measurements with the four different accuracy levels. However the one shot mode and shutdown mode are not supported yet. You can find...

Re: NxtUnit

Hi kvols. Why would I run unit tests on the NXT brick instead? GIven the case you use a collection in your unit test: 1. JUnit and JUnit tests can only use the JDK collections when you run them on the PC but your applications for the nxt can only use the lejos ones. The general problem with using JU...

Elipse was just an example. I assume it will also work with netbeans and every IDE who can handle junit-tests.

Thank you!

Re: NxtUnit

I still don't think it makes sense to do this on the NXT. As Sven said it makes far more sense to me to make use of a PC side program to view the output. Trying to view full exception data on the NXT LCD screen just sounds like a pain to me... Andy First I thought like that, too. However I programm...

Re: Sets and Maps

I think burti is working on some implementations of Maps and Sets :) viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2655 Yes indeed. I have written implementations for sets and maps and tested them and they will be added soon after a review. Some work with hashing (and thus are efficient), others work without hashing (fo...

Re: NxtUnit

Hi, I'm not sure that transferring the debug information to the NXT makes that much sense. This would require programs to contain code in the exception handler to decompress the information and would also require users to transfer the extra data to the NXT and keep it up to date just on the off cha...

Re: NxtUnit

a short status update for you (the team members) and me: I discussed NxtUnit with Sven - he would enjoy to have nxtunit in lejos as I do and use it for some of his method classes. I have used the current nxtunit-version for testing the collections I programmed. Have a look on the status of them in t...

Re: NXTCam image capture

Hi. Sorry to bother you again but why can NxtCamView capture images within 4 seconds? How can it read all the lines so fast? so each line has to be read in sections (in my case I use 60bytes at a time), thus the 352byte line requires 6 transactions. why can't you use 75 bytes at a time instead of 60...

NxtUnit

Hi. I programmed a version of JUnit for the nxt. So you can write tests for the nxt and run them on the nxt. Unfortunately, it is not so comfortable like JUnit as you need to wrap the test methods' calls into objects because nxt does not offer java reflection. I use NxtUnit all the time while progra...
