Problem with Ultrasonic sensor

Hey! I'm doing a program for the NXT that makes it move when I send especific commands from my PC (with bluetooth). The problem is that I wanted to use the ultrasonic sensor to make it avoid obstacles alone without intervention from the PC, but it doesn't work... the ultrasonic sensor keeps returnin...

Take a look at BTSend and BTReceive in the Samples folder for some clues. When I send the BTRespond to the NXT it shows this message: Data abort PC 00204EFE AASR 0021E59B ASR 00020502 And when I compile and run the BTSend in my pc it shows this error: Exception in thread "main" java.lang....

HELP! Can't make programs to connect with NXT via bluetooth

Can anyone teach me step-by-step how to make a simple program that connects to the NXT via bluetooth and gets data from it? I know that leJOS and iCommand comes with lots of examples, but I just can't get them to work.... Help would be very much appreciated since I can't find any nice tutorial in th...

I didn't undestand the part of the example code you gave where the Nokia gets the battery values from NXT... (all those strange bytes) how and where can I learn more about that process? which values can I get from lego NXT and which ones can I send to it so that it could preform specific actions? th...

but to run that program the NXT must have Lego firmware installed because of bluetooth recognition, am I right? I was wondering if it was possible to make my own application for NXT to start bluetooth and make NXT bluetooth device available for my Nokia and then control it with my Nokia application....

Now that i fixed that sensor problem i've another problem. i was hoping you could help me. this program makes a NXT car moves forward until the distance between returned by the ultrasonic sensor is less than 20. Then the car should stop one of the motors so it could rotateto one side looking for spa...
