Re: nxj upload errors on mac OS snow leopard

Those error are from bluecove.

http://code.google.com/p/bluecove/issues/detail?id=119

They exist even in the 2.1.1-SNAPSHOT, so I think there is no way to avoid them unless you can re-write/fix the bluecove lib.

Re: Using the pc API in eclipse

Is your brick named "NXT"?
Did you use a -d32 flag (for USB too)?
Have you looked at the samples?
What's the error(s)?

Re: Using the pc API in eclipse

Did you pass in a -d32 flag to your Eclipse menu -->run --> run configurations --> your class --> arguments --> VM arguments?

Otherwise it will be looking for 64 bit bluecove which isn't supported.

Re: Unable to pair with Android devices

when you try to pair from the NXT, is any dialog appearing in Android. You may have to look at notifications on your handset, select the pair request, and then enter the pair number. The Android notification of a pair request often gets missed by users I think. I am not sure if that is your problem ...

Re: Android to NXT via bluetooth - readInt blocks forever

Well all I can say is that MINDdroid, which you say works for your handset, doesn't have separate read write threads and it uses LCP (Lego Communication Protocol). LeJOS-Droid does have dedicated read write threads so while read might block, the program as a whole should not. Also, it's not using LC...

Re: Bluetooth data delay when receiving?

For anyone wondering why the bluetooth chat app wont work on their mobile device: It requires 3.0 and some phones (like mine) can only go up to 2.3.6 (samsung galaxy ace), so you have to remove the Actionbar and all it's references as it's not supported below 3.0. Hey what? There is or was another ...

Re: Bluetooth data delay when receiving?

Hmm, I did try put a delay after reading the DataInputStream as I thought, like you said, that the Android may have been tied busy sending data, but it made no difference. I'll give the polling idea a try a bit later. It really may have something to do with your threading on Android. I'm not exactl...

Also, leJOSDroid will not turn on the handset's bluetooth for you. Please make sure it's on.

Re: lejos_Droid not connecting

When I touch the screen the app closes. When I look at the sdcard files, the Lejos file is empty. What am I doing wrong? Well if you have the android sdk you can use adb from a command line to see what is going on. Once you get it set up http://developer.android.com/guide/developing/device.html it ...
