Doubt about Remote Support

This is where you talk about the EV3 software itself, installation issues, and programming talk.

Doubt about Remote Support

Postby esmetaman » Wed Sep 06, 2017 9:52 pm

Hi Andy,

the packages about remoting has some kind of integration with the infrastructure or it is pure Java using RMI?

I would like to do a POC to use a Brick with LeJOS and a Java library on EV3Dev.

There are three remote APIs that are part of leJOS, all use pure Java, each one uses a different implementation mechanism. Spend some time looking at the code if you want to understand them. All of them have different limitations.
