Motor wear?

This is where you talk about the NXJ hardware related topics such as the brick, sensors, LEGO pieces, etc.

Motor wear?

Postby ruperty » Mon Nov 03, 2014 4:00 pm

I have noticed that one of my NXT motors requires more effort to turn it, by hand, than others.

Has it just worn out do you think? Have others experienced this, and is there a way of resolving it?

When you tested how hard it is to turn the motors by hand, were they connected to anything? If so, disconnect them.

No, they weren't connected to anything.
