Postby bbagnall » Mon Aug 12, 2013 3:37 pm

An updated version of Maximum LEGO NXT: Building Robots with Java Brains is now available (ISBN 9780986832222). The projects in the previous edition of this book have been updated to be compatible with the latest version of leJOS NXJ, and the NXT 2.0 kit (also compatible with the 1.0 kit). This is a small print run, meaning supplies are limited. New projects include:
  • WiFi control of a robot (with Skype telepresence)
  • Hacking together a cheap laser sensor
  • Beacon localization (using three beacons to identify positional coordinates and heading)
  • Omnidirectional robot navigation using omniwheels
