iCommand and PDA

Postby vladra » Fri Dec 28, 2007 7:41 am

PDA iPAQ 2410
Windows Mobile 2003 SE
IBM J9 Java VM

I try connect my PDA and NXT with the following icommand.properties settings:

choice 1

Exception message: "Open of NXT failed: Scheme not found: btspp". What is it mean?

choice 2

icmdbluez not found. I think icmdbluez is a jar. Where can I get it?

choice 3

gnu.io.PortInUseException class not found.
But why COM8 is in use I don't know.
COM8 is bluetooth outbound port. Default device for outgoing serial connections: NXT

Is there some ideas? I want use my PDA as remote controll. But I can't connect it with NXT...

btspp = blue tooth serial port profile. To me this means the btspp protocol is not available/known in the IO package for the PDA. Are all the required classes on the PDA? I have no experience with BT on a PDA (or how to install the IO packages. e.g. javax.microedition.io)

Try to pair them first (initiate the search from the phone).

I don't think Bluecove will work on a PDA. You'll probably have to use the MySaifu JVM with Javacom and RXTX.
