Motors bucking with V0.5?

Postby WaRRiE » Sun Feb 10, 2008 1:26 pm

Hello there,

I upgraded the firmware yesterday from 0.4 to 0.5. Somehow, the motors of my robot are bucking if I upload the same Java-Code with V0.5 . If I change my environment variables back to the Lejos 0.4 Folder, no bucking appears. Is that a known bug or what do I need to upgrade additionaly? I work with Eclipse.

Thanks in advance. :)

There is a problem with smooth acceleration in 0.5, which will be fixed in the next release.

Is this problem fixed in the SVN? Is this a firmware issue? Can I use /lejos/trunk/snapshot/ ?

Hi Kirk,
Yes, it is fixed in SVN and the snapshot has some other fixes also.
